Project Scope and Modifications: The contractor is committed to completing the work as detailed in the provided estimate. Any additional work beyond this scope will require a written agreement between both parties.
Price Adjustments: The project price may be subject to change in response to design modifications or fluctuations in material costs. The client will be notified of these changes in a timely manner.
Deposit and Cancellation Policy: A 50% deposit is required to initiate the ordering of materials and the commencement of the project. In the event of a cancellation after the deposit, the client may incur fees to cover any expenses or losses incurred by the contractor, up to a maximum of 50% of the total project price.
Payment Terms: Full payment, including taxes and any additional incurred costs, is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. If invoices remain unpaid, the client is subject to a mechanic's lien and potential repossession of materials.
Responsibility for Delays and Materials: The contractor is not liable for delays caused by weather conditions or material shortages. Once materials are delivered to the site, their security and integrity become the responsibility of the client. The contractor cannot be held accountable for any loss or damage to these materials.
Material Ownership: All excess materials remain the property of the contractor. The contractor reserves the right to enter the site to retrieve any such materials after project completion.
